Photography is an essential step in marketing your products and getting them into the hands of more customers. Scroll-stopping images are more important than ever! Beautiful photos will not only encourage followers and purchases but also tell the story of your brand.
This workshop is designed for small business owners or anyone interested in improving their photography and flat lay styling skills. Each attendee will leave this session armed with the knowledge and motivation to style and capture better flat lay images. It is recommended that all attendees have a smart phone with a working camera to participate in this workshop.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
  • You must be registered with the Business Connect program.
  • Logged in & waiting for the Webinar session at least 5 minutes prior.
  • Have a pen & paper ready to write down your questions, as well as a bottle of water.
  • Online video recordings are only available for those who attend.

Gary Wheatstone is a Business Advisor and Program Coordinator. He has been involved with large corporate organisations, smaller family run operations and has been a small business owner. Beginning his career in Sydney, Gary worked in retail, payroll and manufacturing covering industries including marine, construction, architectural design and electrical.

Moving to the north coast of NSW and purchasing an existing business was a steep learning curve. Financing, procurement, customer service excellence, marketing, managing cashflow, staffing and all the other hats that a small business owner wears in a day became necessary skills. Gary is passionate about small business in regional areas. He has 23 plus years of experience as a small business owner in both retail and wholesale in a country town. He understands what a business owner has to deal with day to day.

NEEDING MORE ASSISTANCE:
  • You are eligible for 4 hours of subsidised Small Business Advisory with a $25 co-contribution thereafter (maximum of 60 hours)  when you register with Business Connect program.  However if your business is affected by drought, fire or COVID-19 advisory is FULLY subsidised.
  • We can assist you with access to finance including grants and loans.
  • Connecting to other government support and local professional service .
  • Access to the knowledge, experience & skills of your local business advisor.
  • Access to subsidised workshops, seminars & webinars.

How are the ​workshops run?

Each workshop will focus on its specified topic.

We keep these workshops small, so that you can have a more hands on experience with our industry professionals. 


Workshop details:
  • Price: $25.00 per workshop or ($49 for workshops over 6 hours)
  • Duration: Approximately 3 hours per session.
  • What you need to bring: We recommend bringing your laptop so you can work through the steps as we teach them, though a notepad and pen will suffice!

What happens after?

We don't just want to present to you, we want to TEACH YOU. Every attendee at the workshop receives a complementary one-on-one session in your own business by one of our specialised business advisors. Simply choose a time and day that suits you.  

Our Workshops are part of the Business Connect program, and are subsidised by the by the NSW Government.
