How are the ​workshops run?

Each workshop will focus on its specified topic.

We keep these workshops small, so that you can have a more hands on experience with our industry professionals. 


Workshop details:
  • Price:  FREE  (These workshops are usually $25 however due to fire, drought & COVID-19 they are currently free of charge)
  • ​Duration:  Workshops & Webinars vary depending on the content - approximately 2- 5 hour sessions.
  • What you need to bring: We recommend bringing your laptop so you can work through the steps as we teach them, though a notepad and pen will suffice!


Our Online webinars use the Zoom platform.  You do not need to download zoom however it is advisable.

​Michelle is our all-important Administration Officer at NORTEC Small Business Solutions, handling the team’s workshop and client bookings, accounts, customer enquiries and much more!

A local to the Byron Shire since 1989, Michelle has raised her family here and supported her husband’s business as well.  Her background is in real estate and with a career spanning over 25 years she has performed roles in reception, property management, all the way to business development and marketing. Michelle has also worked in media, gaining valuable knowledge in the world of media and newspaper marketing, not only in print but online.
Her passion is fundraising for local causes including the Cancer Foundations.    Event Management is another feather in her cap as she helps a Local Wedding Venue with Wedding Co-ordination.
Being able to support regional small business owners is the main reason Michelle joined NORTEC Small Business Solutions.
