On the 7th of July 2021, the NSW Government announced a major new grants package to help tens of thousands of small businesses and people across NSW impacted by the current COVID-19 restrictions.
With the
current restrictions in place to protect people and keep the community safe, unfortunately businesses continue to incur costs such as rent, power and lost produce, and this will go some way to lessening that financial pain.

Eligible businesses (including non-employing businesses such as non-employing sole traders) and not-for-profit organisations can apply for a one-off grant of $7,500 (tier one) or $10,500 (tier two) or $15,000 (tier 3) via one application:
  • $7,500 (tier one): Businesses that have experienced a decline in turnover of 30% or more due to the Public Health Orders will be eligible for a grant of $7,500.
  • $10,500 (tier two): Businesses that have experienced a decline in turnover of 50% or more due to the Public Health Orders will be eligible for a grant of $10,500.
  • $15,000 (tier three): Businesses that have experienced a decline in turnover of 70% or more due to the Public Health Orders will be eligible for a grant of $15,000
These grants are specific to Small Business who have experienced a decline in turnover (as above) due to the Public Health Orders over a minimum 2-week period from 26 June 2021 to 17 July 2021 compared to the same period in June and/or July 2019;

Applications have now opened & will close on the 1st of October 2021.
There are guidelines of course & if you need assistance in finding out if you are eligible & applying we have business advisors who can assist you with information regarding your claims process.
